Orange Salad

Special thanks to: BC, Mansfield, LA Servings: 10 Directions: 1 can Mandarin Oranges 1 15oz can crushed pineapple 2 medium oranges 1 - 8 oz carton Cool Whip 1 small box 4 serving size Orange Jell-O 1 - 8 oz carton Cottage Cheese 1 cup Surratt Farms chopped pecans Drain fruit and set aside. Peel and section out oranges. Mix Cool Whip with dry Jell-O. Add cottage cheese, fruit and pecans. Mix well. Chill at least 2 hours before serving. Special Notes: This is a very simple recipe. Preparation time is about 20 minutes or less. I always cut orange slices in half after removing the membrane from each section. My granddaughter entered this salad in a 4-H Pecan recipe contest and won 1st place in the salad category.
