Chicken Salad

Special thanks to: DB, Mineral Wells, TX Servings: 4 Directions: Cook two chicken breasts in boiling water till done. About 20 minutes. Shred the chicken into a bowl. Add 1/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped apple and 1/4 cup chopped Surratt Farms pecans. Mix well. Add 3/4 cup salad dressing. More or less salad dressing depending on how you like it. Spread on toast or crackers. It is so good. Special Notes: Recipe Name: Cinnamon Apple Jello Salad Special thanks to: ML, Las Vegas, NV Servings: 8 Directions: 6 oz. cherry jello 3 1/2 C. water 1/2 C. cinnamon red hots candy 3 C. grated, peeled apples 1/2 - 3/4 C. chopped Surratt Farms Pecans Dissolve candy in water over medium high heat, stirring often. Remove from heat; add jello and stir until dissolved. Stir in pecans and apples when cooled. Pour into serving dish 8 x 8" or larger. Re- frigerate until jello is firm and you are ready to serve the salad. Special Notes: Most everyone I have served this jello salad to has requested the recipe. I like it because it is so easy to prepare and you can fix it ahead of time. Mostly I like it because it uses pecans. No matter which nuts a recipe calls for, I use only pecans, my very favorites.
