Raisin-Pecan Pie

Special thanks to: TB, Pottsville, PA Servings: 8 Directions: 1 1/2 cups golden raisins 1 1/2 cups pecan halves 1 1/2 cups sugar 3 eggs 1 cup melted butter 1 tsp vanilla Soak raisins in boiling water about 10 minutes until plumped. Drain water and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, then add sugar and vanilla, mixing until well blended. Slowly pour melted butter into mixture while continuing to mix. Next stir in raisins and pecans. Pour into unbaked 9" pie crust and bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Special Notes: The raisins add a rich sweetness to this old favorite!
