Doc's Chocolate Kahlua Pecan Pie

Special thanks to: RT, , Servings: 8 Directions: 1/4 cup Softened Butter 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar 1 tbsp All-Purpose Flour 3/4 cup light Karo Syrup 1/4 cup Kahlua Liqueur 1 tsp Vanilla 1/4 tsp Salt 3 Large Eggs 2 Cups Broken Fancy Mammoth Pecan Halves 1/2 cup Giardelli Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips (or Dark Chocolate Chips if you can find them) Special Notes: Blend butter and brown sugar until smooth, mix in flour, add vanilla, salt, Kahlua, Karo syrup, then eggs and mix until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spread chocolate chips over the bottom of a 9-inch pie crust in the pan and pour in the above mixture. Bake in a 375F oven about 40-45 minutes, remove when center is just set. Place on a rack and let cool completely. ENJOY!!!!!
