Chocolate Pecan Pie

Special thanks to: MH, bath, ME Servings: 8 Directions: 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 c Karo light syrup 1 pkg (4oz) Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled 4 T. butter 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup Surratt Farms large pecan pieces Stir eggs, corn syrup, chocolate, sugar, butter, & vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Makes 8 servings.
