Pecan Tassies

Special thanks to: SV, Fabens, TX Servings: 12 Directions: Blend 3 ounces of softened cream cheese and 1/2 cup softened butter. stir in 1 cup flour and then chill for 1 hr. Shape into 24-1 inch balls and press against bottom and sides of small (ungreased) sized muffin tin. Beat 1 egg, add 3/4 C. brown sugar, 1 TBLSP very soft butter and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until smooth. Measure 1cup chopped pecans and sprinkle some in each pastry shell. Pour in egg mixture, then top each mixture with additional pecans. Bake at 325F for 25 minutes. Let cool and then enjoy.
