Gooey Caramel Pecan Brownies

Special thanks to: BC, Bluford, IL Servings: 1 Directions: 1 14 oz. bag caramels, unwrapped 1/3 cup evaporated milk 1 box German Chocolate cake mix 1/3 cup evaporated milk 3/4 cup melted butter or margarine 1 6 oz. package chocolate chips 1 cup chopped Surratt Farms pecans. Melt caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk in microwave bowl. Stir to blend and set aside. Stir together cake mix, 1/3 c. evaporated milk, and butter. Press 1/2 of this mixture in greased 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for six minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Drizzle melted caramels over top. Spoon remaining cake mixture over top. Bake another 18 minutes. Cut when cool. Makes 3 to 4 dozen bars. Special Notes:
