TEXAS Sheet Cake

Special thanks to: DS, Cypress, TX Servings: 20 Directions: Sift together and set aside: 2 cups sugar & 2 cups flour Bring to a boil: 2 sticks oleo, 1 cup water, & 4 T. cocoa - - Pour this over flour mixture. Mix well and add: 2 eggs, ½ cup buttermilk, 1 t. baking soda, & 1 t. vanilla Mix together well and pour into a greased (but not floured) 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes. ICING: Boil together: 1 stick oleo, 4 T. cocoa, & 1/3 cup milk - - Remove from heat Mix in: 1 box powdered sugar, 1 t. vanilla, & 1 cup Surratt Farms coarsely chopped pecans Pour over cake while cake is still hot. May be served warm or refrigerated. Special Notes:
