Special thanks to: LS, Lake Wales, FL Servings: 20 Directions: 1/4 cup evaporated Milk 1 cup sugar 1/4 tsp cinnamon 2 tblsp water 1/4 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp dried orange peel 1 1/2 lbs Surratt Farms Pecan halves Combine all ingredients except Pecans. Cook over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Add Pecans and cook until all sugar mix is absorbed by the pecans, stir frequently. When all sugar mix is on the pecans (no liquid on the bottom of the pan) spread out on wax paper. Separate pecan halve with a fork and let cool. Special Notes: You may substitute 1/4 tsp orange extract for the dried orange peel. Warning these are addictive! Very difficult to stop eating them once you start.
