Pecan Crusted Ravioli Appetizer
Special thanks to: BL, canyon, TX Servings: 20 Directions: Cook frozen ravioli as directions suggest. Remove ravioli from water and let rest on paper towel. Ravioli needs to be dry. Mix one egg (beaten) and 1/2 cup of milk for an egg wash. Mix 1/2 cup Surratt Farms finely crushed pecans with 1/2 cup of shedded parmesan cheese. Dip cooked ravioli into egg wash and then cover with pecan mixture. Heat 1/4 cup of vegetable oil or olive oil in large frying pan. Place single layer of breaded ravioli into oil. Cook on both sides until golden brown. Remove from pan and drain on paper towel. Sauce: one jar of any marinara sauce with 1/2 cup of cream. Heat sauce in microwave right before serving. Ranch dressing is also a good sauce. Special Notes:
