Pecans with Curry

Special thanks to: FM, Kingston, NY Servings: 15 Directions: 1/2 pounds Surratt Farms whole pecan halves 1/2 tsp. sea salt 1/2 tsp. curry 1 tsp. safflower oil In a plastic bag, lightly knead pecans with salt, curry, and oil. Try not to break pecans.When mixed spread in one layer on an edged cookie sheet. Bake at 250-300 degrees for about 8 minutes. Upon removing from oven add 1/2 tsp. more curry, if you like. Special Notes: Curry is a mixture of different spices, varying in each formulation. The result is different degrees of "heat" or spiciness. A name-brand of curry is probably on the mild side. Also, you might like to add a little garlic powder.
