Special thanks to: EH, Servings: 3 Directions: Maple Pecans 1/2 pound pecans 1/4 cup butter 1/4 extra dark maple syrup In saucepan heat half of the syrup over mediam heat. Add butter. When butter is melted add pecan halves and cook 3 minutes, nuts will begin to stick together. Add remaining maple syrup and cool and stir until it begins to carmelize. Stir constantly until the syrup is almost gone and remove from the heat. Cool on a silpat sheet or buttered cookie sheet. Once cooled and non-sticky, place in refrigerator to finish cooling. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Special Notes: Our maple customers love these nuts.
