Chile Pecans

Special thanks to: MP, Sugar Land, TX Servings: 16 Directions: 1 Tbs vegetable oil 1 1/2 tsp chile powder 1 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper 1/2 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 cups Surratt Farms unsalted pecans Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with foil.(Can spray with nonstick cooking spray, if desired.) Set aside. Combine all ingredients except nuts. Mix thoroughly with wire whisk. Add nuts, stirring to evenly coat. Place on baking sheet and spread in single layer. Bake for aprox. 10-13 minutes or until golden, stirring once or twice. Remove from oven and cool completely. Can be stored in 1 pint jar or ziplock bags. Special Notes: Surprisingly yummy!
