Welcome and thank you for visiting our site. I would like to take this opportunity to share a little about our operation and what makes our Pecans just a little better than the rest.
Our orchards are nestled along the Rio Grande valley in the far west Texas town of Fabens, about thirty miles east of El Paso. Originally planted as a windbreak, our first Pecan trees were cultivated in 1955. We are now the third generation continuing the farming operation, and at present have over 450 acres of Pecans trees in production.
The good Lord has provided us with the ideal climate to produce some of the best Pecans available. We enjoy long, hot, arid summers, abundant irrigation water, and cold winters. Our climate along with integrated pest management allows us to produce excellent quality with minimal use of pesticides and no fungicides.
At Surratt Farms, orchard management includes pruning, nutrition, and experience passed down through three generations to produce, what we hope you'll agree to be, the finest Pecans available.
If for any reason, you are not satisfied with our products please contact us immediately because at Surratt Farms your satisfaction is guaranteed.
Thank you for visiting,
Michael Surratt
