Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie

Special thanks to: GN, Winder, GA Servings: 8 Directions: 1 cup corn syrup (light or dark) 1/2 cup sugar 2 T. butter or margarine, melted 1 t. vanilla 3 eggs 1 cup chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups pecans (halves or pieces) 1 pie crust Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place a cookie sheet in oven to heat. Put the pecans and chocolate chips in the pie crust. Mix all of the remaining ingredients well and pour this over the pecans. Place the pie on the heated cookie sheet and bake for 55-65 minutes until deep golden brown and filling is set. Cool completely. Awesome with vanilla ice cream. Special Notes: Two pies can easily be made at the same time, doubling everything except the eggs. Use 5 eggs for 2 pies. This recipe is my specialty.
